General In Studio Art Class Information

All classes during the school year are 90 minute weekly sessions for students 7 and up.   Our classes are small mixed age group lessons which allow for maximized learning with one on one guidance by our highly trained instructors.  Students work on individual projects based on their skill level, so new students are welcome to join any of our ongoing classes anytime during the school year with monthly enrollment.  Our schedule follows the Bellevue School District schedule for holidays from September through June.  We offer Art Camps only on select weeks during the Summer months.

Our Ongoing Art Program

Our mission is to help students who show an interest in art (who love to doodle and draw at home) take the next steps in expanding their understanding of art materials and mediums. We help build confidence by teaching students skills and techniques while encouraging creativity. When new students begin our program, they will start with the basic foundations of drawing, focusing heavily on proportions and shapes. They will then move on to technique building in various mediums, including but not limited to; pen and ink, chalk pastels, watercolor, acrylic, and oils. Students will utilize their learned skills to render paintings they choose of still life, landscapes, animals, etc.  Middle and High School aged students will be given the opportunity to work on entering local/national art Competitions and Art Portfolio building.

Attendance:

Students will be expected to attend their weekly art class once registered.  We will not be able to offer make up classes for any unexcused absences.  Prorated tuition, freezes to accounts, and complete withdrawal from classes will only be available if notice is given prior to billing at the beginning of each month via email.  If a student is ill or have been notified that they have had possible Covid exposure, we will freeze attendance until they have been cleared to return. Visit our page dedicated to our Covid Procedures.

Tuition/Billing:

Payment is due in full on the first of each month via auto pay with a credit card on file set up at registration.  Our program consists of 4 classes each month unless stated otherwise on our monthly calendar (there are NO CLASSES on the 5th week).  Monthly tuition is $160/student (4 classes).  We offer a 10% sibling discount.

Supplies:

Students will use our studio supplies for the first month of classes so that we can determine what medium they will continue with.  We will then provide parents a supply list that each student will need to bring to weekly.

No Commitment First Class:

Not sure if our classes will be a good fit? Schedule a class to find out. Our no commitment first class will only be charged if your child would like to continue classes.  To book a lesson, contact us.
